Memories of summer vacation are framed pictures on shelves, school shopping chaos is behind us, and class is back in session. It’s official, summer is on its way out. But that means that fall and all its glory is moving in! Cooler weather, sweatshirts, campfires and smores, and best of all…FALL AND HALLOWEEN DECOR! The colors of fall are so warm and inviting; I’m tempted to leave my home decorated for fall all year! I want to share some of my favorite fall and Halloween items that I think are “must-haves.”
We all know someone who loves Halloween! They love the decor, the excitement of dressing up, trick-or-treating, scary movies, and more! Isabella is a little young to go trick-or-treating, but I am excited to get her a cute little costume so we can visit friends and family to show-off her cuteness! I am thinking something Moana or Trolls, since she loves the movies! As she gets older, this countdown calendar will definitely be a necessity and I know she will love moving the little pumpkin magnet each day!
Is it really fall if you don’t have a jack-o lantern?! It’s been years since I’ve carved one, and to be honest, I don’t think I have the patience or skill to do it. So next best thing is this festive resin pumpkin that has an LED light that shines out. I can display it and not have to worry about the yuckiness from a real pumpkin rotting away! (ewwww!)
I am a sucker for anything shimmery. This tree has a perfect dusting of glitter! The spindly branches add a touch of creepiness, and the spider web metal base completes the Halloween vibe! (The moon ornaments are sold separately and they have a touch of glitter as well! Find them here.)
How cute is this little pumpkin face with a star and garland printed on top of his head, and his awkward smile with only three teeth! I really like the box sign greeting the month because mine and Isabella’s birthdays are in October!
A great smelling fragrance is a necessity for any season. For some reason, these candles being in mason jars makes them seem more “fall” than a regular candle jar. I don’t know, maybe I am crazy, hah! The fresh apple is my fave and reminds me of when I was young and my parents would take me to apple orchards and we’d pick our own apples! What would your fall fragrance pick be?
