Give your table a patriotic touch with this simple DIY
Looking for a cute DIY country centerpiece for your 4th of July picnic? You can put this one together in no time at all and only takes a few easy-to-find pieces! Every backyard BBQ could use a little country decor.
This is going to be so easy. You could literally do this with your eyes closed. Put it together and go about your day without missing a beat!
First, tie your jute ribbon around the mouth of the jar. Next, pour the filler into the jar until it is about ⅔ of the way full. Nestle the battery-operated tealight into the rosehips. Finally, add your red silk flowers and American flag, and voila! You’re done.

It would be fun to put together a few of these and create a grouping for your tabletop or mantle. Also, remember the rosehips are unscented but you can add some fragrance to it with some essential oils , scented potpourri, or refreshing oils. A little oil goes a long way, so start with a drop or two and wait to see how fragrant it is.
You can keep the flag in all year long to show your patriotism, or just display seasonal flowers. I think I would always keep some kind of filler in the jar. So whether it’s rosehips, potpourri, mini bells, or wooden words; a filler is a must for me!
