Celebrating Thanksgiving & Practicing Gratitude

TURKEY DAY!

I hope you are enjoying all the delicious food, and just having a great time being with your friends and family! My sister usually hosts, so we go there. Isabella and I stay a few extra days with her before heading back home. This year we aren’t having turkey (gasp!) No one really loves it so we are having everyone’s favorite things. I’m not even entirely sure of the menu but I will share it on my personal Instagram if you’re interested, haha. I have been tasked with making brownies, so baking will happen soon!  I love spending time with the fam and watching Isabella interact with everyone. What do you typically do on Thanksgiving?

Attitude of Gratitude

Also, it’s the biggest shopping weekend of the year! We are literally knocking on December’s door and I have mixed feelings about it. Things have been pretty busy here at KP, but I wanted to take time to check-in. With all the hustle and bustle of the season, it is important to take a deep breath and feel gratitude.

Things get really busy  and it’s almost impossible not to stress out about something. Be sure to pause, and appreciate that we have family and friends to cook for, celebrate with, and laugh with. If things get to be too much, please make it a priority to have a mini self-care session and tune out everyone. I know it’s easier said than done! Even just washing my face and brushing my teeth alone is a hard thing to make happen! If we all could take a breather for a few minutes, I think the world could be a little bit of a happier place; don’t you?

I want to tell YOU how much I appreciate all of you! Thank you for reading the blog, subscribing, commenting, and emailing me. I couldn’t ask for better customers friends. Thanks for being YOU! I hope you take the time to tell someone in your life that you are appreciate them. We assume that people just KNOW and that it is enough, but everyone likes to hear the words too. Let’s pay it forward, shall we! I know my love language is words of affirmation, so I thrive on hearing those kinds of things.

What are some things you are grateful for?

Here is my list:

  1. my sour patch toddler
  2. caring and supportive family and friends
  3. a nice new home that looks like a 2 year old decorated it
  4. Kroger ClickList
  5. a job that gives me a creative outlet

The Art of Giving

Raise your hand if you love giving gifts! My hand was definitely raised. I love seeing something and immediately thinking of who else would love it! Shopping online is a MUST for me. The stores can be too crowded, plus dealing with a toddler who is just interested in playing…I have to pass on the brick and mortar stores.

If you are like me and don’t like going into the stores, then you absolutely need to be shopping with KP this weekend! We are having some fantastic promotions and you really need to stay tuned to Instagram, Facebook, and our mailing list.  I don’t want you to miss out. I am pretty sure that KP has never had a deal like this before. Please stay tuned! Promo starts Thanksgiving and runs through Cyber Monday!

In the meantime, browse the latest catalog, skim around the website, and add things to your cart so that you will be READY.  One of my favorite categories to shop in besides New, is the Gifts & More category. There are a lot of great things sorted out for you. So check it out!
